Early Release Day, Wednesday 22nd. Reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, 3/22/23, will be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30am.There will be no Lex 2.5 tomorrow since it is an early release day.
Check for lost items please.. Our lost and found is overflowing! When your child returns on Tuesday, please have them check for any lost items. These are on the stage in the lunchroom. We will be Spring Cleaning and donating leftover items next Friday.
16 finalists will compete for Lexington Two Future Chefs title The elementary school students will participate in a cook-off on March 9 to see who will go on to represent the district in the Future Chefs Challenge
Sign your 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders up for the Run Hard Event Don't forget to sign up your 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders up for Run Hard. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30pm to 3:45 pm here at school beginning the week of March 6th. There are limited spaces so sign up soon!
Kids Heart Challenge Today we are kicking off our online Kids Heart Challenge campaign. Included is a flyer about registering online and raising funds for the American Heart Association. We encourage you to go to http://american.heart.org/kidsheartchallenge/ and search for Wood Elementary to sign up and begin raising funds. Cool thank-you gifts are given for different levels of funds that you raise. Our school goal is to raise $3000 dollars for the American Heart Association.
