Message from The Admin Team...

Equip = to prepare someone mentally for a particular task or situation.
Empower = make someone stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.

Parents and caregivers send their children to school so that they can seek the promise of a productive and successful life.  As teachers, staff members, and administrators, it is our duty to fulfill that promise. We equip our students with the skills needed in a changing workforce.  We see the ability to collaborate and communicate as skills just as important as the ability to solve algebraic equations or summarize an informational article.
That is our promise to the students at Wood Elementary; we will equip and empower them to become successful and productive citizens. It is a vow we intend to uphold.

Respectfully,
The Administrative Team
